Something worries me a bit. My Life line in my left 'silent' palm has an inward break; at the same height a deep line merges from my Fate line into my Life line, taking it over.
In my major palm my Life line just continues. I worry over the fact, that not many years from now I will retire. Does the break in my left palm mean that I will pine away, become lonesome etc. I know it is up to oneself to make the best out of life, but sometimes things just happen. ~ Anne

As you know your left hand reveals the 'silent' palm so your Life line in that palm reflects emotional rather than the physical status Life line of the major hand reveals. If there was a total break of the left palm's Life line with no assistance from the Fate line I would say there could be emotional obstacles or withdrawal from former activities.
But because your Fate line assists the Life line of your silent hand this mends and strengthens emotional resistance -- so it appears you will weather retirement just fine.
